The words Festina Lente are an ancient maxim that goes back thousands of years to Greek and Roman times.  The symbol of a dolphin or at times a rope twisting around a sea anchor has been integrated into the emblem of naval forces, in which we have served, since almost the beginning.  It means "Make Haste Slowly."  The roots of the Agro-Melina Family are found in 12th Century Spain and Sicily where not only the naval tradition was established but also the care and breeding of superior animals, oils and wines.  Today, here on the sun baked prairie of Florida, Festina Lente specializes in fine, earth mindful, environmentally friendly and conscious practices for the betterment of our hand tended and harvested crops, cattle and this, "Our Only Earth.".
